Well project mudroom is underway and I can’t wait to see this space come together! It’s the last area in our home that needed to be fully designed (in my mind haha) and I’m so excited! Having 3 boys is no joke and the mudroom has been a dumping ground fro the past few years it seems for all things on the main level. I want this space to be functional for the boys to hang up their stuff and just make this space overall easier to keep clean and organized.
I am doing a fun wall treatment with some paintable wood paneling wallpaper and I can’t wait to get it up and see how it looks! Our lights arrived and they are so stunning, nothing gets me more giddy then good lighting, I always say it’s the jewelry of a space! I plan on having lots of pegs for hanging stuff everywhere so there should be no excuse to not hang up all the things ha!
I am also doing some fun contrast trim in this space and I can’t wait to see how it looks. I have been wanting to try it in our home for awhile and the mudroom seemed like the perfect spot to explore it. Plus I feel like the white trim in there is always looking dirty because after all it is a “mudroom”. The kids are always tracking things in and I just want this space to hide the wear and tear better.
