Happy Halloween everyone, I can’t believe it is the last day of October already. I had a lovely birthday weekend bring in the big 3-0 and I have to say I am happy to be entering into this next chapter of life. We had some friends over for a little shindig and the kids when to their nanny and grampies for the night which I am sure all you parents out there can agree, sleepover nights are just the best! However, sometimes I feel like I want to send them for a sleepover just so we can go to bed early and sleep in haha.
As you can see from the photo we did a little pumpkin carving and this was the most friendly pumpkin face we could come up with. With a 4 year old and a one year old we didn’t want anything to frightening looking for them. I am pretty sure this pumpkin carving could win me some serious awards as you can tell from its intricate design.
In other news it has been a rough few days in the ol technology department, my one year old smashed our ipad screen and my iphone broke and is barely functioning which is always delightful. I am going to have to get my phone replaced in the next few days because it is driving me nuts not having it working and reliable.
Well I hope you all have a great Halloween and if you take your kids trick or treating, find yourself eating a few delicious treats later tonight.
Kind thoughts,
Lauren Elizabeth
